How to run a class timetable with spot limits online

Group classes need three things a normal calendar lacks: a weekly timetable, a limit per class and a count of who is coming.

Set the timetable once

  1. Create each class type with its length and capacity, for example "Hatha Flow, 60 min, 12 spots".
  2. Add the weekly times: Monday 07:00, Wednesday 18:30 and so on.
  3. Pick the instructor for each time if you want it shown.

What members see

Each upcoming class with the number of spots left. Full classes show as full, with a waitlist if you turn it on.

Holidays and changes

Add time off for public holidays or when the studio is closed; classes in that period stop taking bookings.

Who is coming

Your dashboard lists every booking with any intake answers, so the teacher can see newcomers and injuries before class.

FAQ

Questions

Can two people book the last spot at the same time?

No. The spot limit is checked in the same database step that saves the booking, so the second person is told the class just filled.
